Role Overview
We're looking for a Business Growth Associate (Legal) who combines legal expertise with strong business development skills. This role is ideal for someone who has worked as an in-house counsel, corporate legal associate, legal operations professional, or in a law firm and wants to transition into a customer-facing growth role.
You will work closely with enterprise customers, law firms, startups, and internal product teams to drive adoption of LegalCare's legal solutions, identify customer needs, and help shape our go-to-market strategy.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Build relationships with General Counsels, Legal Heads, Compliance Heads, Company Secretaries, and corporate legal teams.
- Identify and generate new business opportunities across enterprises, startups, and law firms.
- Conduct product demonstrations and solution walkthroughs for prospective customers.
- Manage the sales pipeline from lead generation to closure.
Customer Success & Legal Consulting
- Understand customer legal workflows and recommend the right LegalCare solutions.
- Assist customers during onboarding and implementation.
- Act as the bridge between customers, legal experts, and the product team.
- Gather customer feedback and translate legal requirements into product enhancements.
Partnerships
- Build strategic partnerships with law firms, legal consultants, startup incubators, accelerators, and professional associations.
- Support GTM initiatives for products such as Enterprise Litigation Management, Employee Legal Wellness, and Patent Drafting.
Market Intelligence
- Track developments in LegalTech, compliance, AI, and enterprise legal operations.
- Conduct competitor analysis and identify emerging market opportunities.
- Support the founders in strategic business initiatives and enterprise proposals.
Preferred Experience
- Mandatory: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LL.B., B.A. LL.B., B.B.A. LL.B., LL.M., or equivalent) from a recognized university.
- Mandatory: 1-3 years of experience as an In-House Counsel, Corporate Legal Associate, Legal Operations Professional, or within the Corporate Legal Department of an organization.
- Strong understanding of corporate legal workflows, contracts, compliance, governance, corporate advisory, legal operations, and enterprise legal processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage senior legal and business stakeholders.
- Prior exposure to business development, customer success, enterprise sales, account management, or consulting will be an added advantage.
- Passion for LegalTech, AI, enterprise software, and transforming legal operations through technology.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and work directly with founders.
