Job Role:
Responsible for conducting eye examinations, refraction assessments, and assisting in comprehensive eye care services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying the patients, guiding and explaining to them about the procedures.
- Performing Refraction and checking the spectacle powers through lensometer.
- Referring the patients to the consultants for further detailed ocular examination and dilatation.
- Counselling the patient about vision-related matters as per the advice given by the consultants.
- Offering help and guiding patients in wearing contact lenses as per consultant’s advice
- Explaining the patients about advantages of modern methods & procedures of treatment available.
- Being aware of signs and symptoms of general health conditions (e.g. diabetes, hypertension etc.
- Care, Follow up, Pre - op, Post - op.
