General Manager – Inbound Travel
Location: Kochi, Kerala
We are seeking an experienced General Manager with 10+ years of experience in the travel and tourism industry to lead business operations, sales and growth across India. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in handling international travelers, developing inbound tourism products, managing operations and sales teams, building global travel partnerships and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Manage and oversee travel operations across multiple locations in India.
- Lead, manage, mentor and develop the Sales, Operations, Business Development, and support teams to achieve organizational goals and business targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel partners, vendors and tourism stakeholders
- Handle customer escalations and ensure service excellence.
- Research, evaluate and develop new travel destinations, tour packages and tourism products to expand business offerings
- Generate new business opportunities and expand market reach through effective networking and sales initiatives .
- Monitor sales pipeline, forecasts and business performance and provide regular reports to management.
- Plan and execute marketing initiatives to strengthen brand presence.
- Identify new market opportunities and emerging trends to drive sales growth and increase revenue.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Travel & Tourism, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Travel & Tourism industry, including managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge of the Indian domestic travel market and multi-state operations.
- Proven experience in managing teams and driving business growth.
Note: Preference will be given to candidates who have prior proven experience in building and leading teams from scratch, developing successful sales strategies, identifying new market opportunities and consistently achieving revenue and growth targets
