About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Lead Visual Journalist with a strong background in the media industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality visual content, including videos, graphics, and multimedia stories that engage audiences across digital and social media platforms. The candidate should possess excellent storytelling abilities, strong editing skills, and experience working in a fast-paced newsroom or digital media environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce compelling visual stories through videos, graphics, and multimedia content.
- Edit news packages, documentaries, interviews, reels, and digital features.
- Create motion graphics, infographics, and visual explainers.
- Collaborate with reporters, editors, and digital teams to enhance storytelling.
- Ensure all visual content meets editorial standards and brand guidelines.
- Cover breaking news and deliver high-quality content within tight deadlines.
- Manage photography, videography, and post-production workflows.
- Optimize visual content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), and other digital platforms.
- Stay updated with the latest visual storytelling trends and AI-powered media tools.
- Mentor junior team members and maintain high creative standards.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Excellent video editing and multimedia production skills.
- Knowledge of photography, videography, lighting, and audio editing.
- Experience in motion graphics and digital storytelling.
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Film Production, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Media Industry is mandatory.
- Experience with digital news platforms, television, or online media organizations preferred.
- Strong portfolio showcasing visual storytelling, video editing, and multimedia projects.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
