Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with 4–5 years of relevant experience to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure financial accuracy, maintain statutory compliance, and support financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting standards, and experience with ERP/accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger maintenance.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, customer accounts, and general ledger balances.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance filings.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documentation.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist management with financial analysis and MIS reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- 4–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP/accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in budgeting and financial planning.
- Exposure to internal controls and audit processes.
- Knowledge of automation tools and ERP implementations is an advantage.
