Job Summary:
A DO Assistant is responsible for handling Delivery Order (DO) documentation and coordinating with shipping lines, transporters, CHA, customers, and port authorities for smooth cargo release and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and processing Delivery Orders (DO) for import/export shipments.
- Coordinating with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transporters, and customers.
- Verifying shipping documents such as:
- Bill of Lading (BL)
- Invoice
- Packing List
- EDO/DO copies
- Maintaining records of delivery orders and shipment documents.
- Following up for container release and cargo clearance.
- Updating shipment status in system/software.
- Coordinating with port, CFS, and warehouse teams.
- Handling customer queries related to delivery and documentation.
- Ensuring timely submission of documents and compliance with company procedures.
- Preparing daily operational reports and maintaining filing records.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
