We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Solar Helper to assist solar installation technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial solar energy systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, able to perform physical labor, and interested in developing skills in the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist solar installers with the assembly and installation of solar panels, racking systems, and related equipment.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and tools to job sites.
- Help prepare rooftops and work areas for solar installations.
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with wiring, conduit installation, and basic electrical tasks under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite.
- Support system testing, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements
- Previous construction, roofing, electrical, or solar experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
