About the Role
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer who can build, customize, and maintain high-performance WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have strong front-end and back-end development skills, a good understanding of website optimization, and experience working with custom themes and plugins.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Convert Figma/PSD designs into responsive WordPress websites.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and plugin conflicts.
- Integrate third-party APIs and tools.
- Ensure websites are SEO-friendly and mobile responsive.
- Perform regular website updates, backups, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with designers, SEO, and marketing teams to implement website improvements.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.
- Knowledge of WooCommerce customization.
- Familiarity with MySQL and WordPress database structure.
- Understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.
- Basic knowledge of Git/version control is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Knowledge of REST APIs.
- Understanding of technical SEO and Core Web Vitals.
- Experience with hosting environments such as cPanel or Cloud hosting.
