Role Description: The Admissions Counselor role at Your Chanakya is a full-time, on-site position based in Ghaziabad. The Admissions Counselor will guide prospective students and their families through the complete admission lifecycle for Medical UG and PG programs in India and abroad. Daily responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, understanding student profiles, explaining course and university options, and recommending suitable pathways. The role involves managing inquiries, maintaining accurate records, following up with leads, and supporting students with application forms, documentation, and timelines. The Admissions Counselor will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding admission procedures, visas, and other formalities, while meeting individual and team targets and delivering a high standard of service.
Qualifications :
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to counsel students and interact effectively with parents, partners, and institutions.
- Customer Service and Sales abilities to handle inquiries, convert leads, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships.
- Familiarity with NEET counseling or MBBS abroad is a strong plus Good understanding of medical/engineering education pathways
- Understanding of Education sector dynamics, preferably in medical education, with the ability to explain courses, admission criteria, and career pathways clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or related fields is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM or student management systems, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Ghaziabad, handle multiple cases simultaneously, and meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional regional languages are an advantage.
