Key Roles & Responsibilities
Procurement Planning
- Receive material requisitions from Project, Design, Production, and Site Teams.
- Plan and procure materials as per project schedules and operational requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid project delays.
- 2.Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate commercial terms.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing vendors for better pricing and delivery commitments.
- Purchase Order Management
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Follow up with suppliers for order confirmation, manufacturing status, and dispatch schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Material Procurement
- Procure equipment and materials used in water and wastewater treatment projects, such as:
- Pumps, Blowers, and Motors
- Valves and Piping Materials
- Pressure Vessels and Tanks
- RO Membranes and Filters
- Instruments and Automation Components
- Electrical Panels and Cables
- Chemicals and Consumables
- Cost Control & Negotiation
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Conduct market research to monitor price trends and supplier performance.
- Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with Stores and Site Teams to monitor inventory levels.
- Prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Track material consumption and reorder requirements.
- Documentation & Record Keeping
- Maintain purchase records, quotations, comparative statements, and vendor databases.
- Prepare MIS reports related to procurement activities.
- Ensure proper filing of purchase-related documents.
- Logistics & Delivery Coordination
- Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and site teams for timely material delivery.
- Resolve delivery issues and expedite urgent requirements.
- Track shipments and ensure proper documentation.
- Quality & Compliance
- Ensure purchased materials meet technical specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with QA/QC and Engineering teams for technical approvals.
- Handle material rejection and replacement processes when required.
- Interdepartmental Coordination
- Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Accounts, Stores, and Site Teams.
- Support project execution by ensuring timely procurement of materials and equipment.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
