Qualification:
- Diploma / B.E. Mechanical Engineering
- Additional certifications in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, CNC Programming (Preferred)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in CNC, VMC, and HMC machining operations. The candidate should have grown from the shop-floor level and possess complete knowledge of machine shop operations, production planning, process optimization, manpower management, quality systems, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing an entire machine shop with multiple machining centers while ensuring productivity, quality, delivery, safety, and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Execution
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Ensure maximum machine utilization.
- Monitor machine loading and capacity planning.
- Plan production based on customer schedules.
- Coordinate with PPC for production priorities.
- Minimize idle machine time.
- Ensure on-time delivery.
2. Machine Shop Operations
Should possess complete operational knowledge of:
- CNC Turning Centers
- Vertical Machining Centers (VMC)
- Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC)
- Vertical Turning Centers (VTL)
- Multi-axis CNC Machines
3. Process Planning
- Study engineering drawings.
- Analyze machining sequence.
- Select machining methods.
- Optimize cycle time.

- Reduce machining cost.
- Establish standard operating procedures.

4. CNC Programming Knowledge
Working knowledge of:

Ideal Candidate Profile
- 20+ years of progressive experience in CNC/VMC/HMC machine shop operations.
- Hands-on exposure from machine operator/setter level to production leadership.
- Proven experience managing 50–200+ CNC/VMC/HMC machines and 100–300+ shop-floor employees.
- Strong record of improving productivity, reducing cycle time, controlling costs, and maintaining high quality standards.
- Demonstrated success in implementing Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and OEE improvement initiatives.
- Capable of leading high-volume, precision machining operations while consistently meeting customer delivery commitments and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
