Basant Autotech LLP is a growing precision engineering and manufacturing company engaged in auto components, machined castings, forgings, aluminium components, and engineering parts. The company is expanding its domestic and export customer base and is looking for a capable and sincere candidate to manage customer communication, order coordination, export documentation, and regular follow-up for future business.
Job Role
The Customer Relationship Executive will be responsible for handling customer communication, replying to customer emails, coordinating order status with production, updating customers, coordinating dispatch requirements, preparing export documents, and maintaining regular follow-up for repeat and new orders. The candidate should have good command over English and Hindi and should be capable of maintaining professional communication with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with customers through emails, phone calls, and messages for order status, dispatch updates, documents, and business follow-up.
- Reply to customer emails in proper English and maintain professional communication on behalf of the company.
- Coordinate with the production department to check the status of customer orders and regularly update customers accordingly.
- Maintain constant follow-up with production to ensure customer orders are completed within the committed timeline.
- Coordinate with the dispatch department and clearly instruct them regarding customer-specific formalities, packing requirements, documentation, and dispatch instructions.
- Prepare export invoices, packing lists, and other basic export-related documents as required.
- Send PDI reports, dispatch documents, invoices, packing lists, transport details, and other required documents to customers after dispatch.
- Maintain healthy and regular follow-up with customers for repeat orders, new enquiries, pending quotations, and future order pipeline.
- Track customer requirements, pending orders, expected dispatches, and upcoming business opportunities.
- Update management with daily reports and other reports as required from time to time.
- Assist in preparation and participation in exhibitions, trade fairs, customer meetings, and buyer-seller events.
- Maintain proper records of customer communication, order status, dispatch details, documents sent, pending enquiries, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate internally with production, quality, dispatch, accounts, and management to ensure smooth customer service and timely order execution.
Required Skills
- Good command over written and spoken English
- Good communication skills in Hindi
- Ability to draft professional customer emails
- Good coordination and follow-up skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email, and documentation
- Ability to prepare invoices, packing lists, and reports on Google Sheets, Excel
- Responsible and disciplined approach towards customer commitments
- Ability to coordinate with production and dispatch teams
- Confidence to speak with customers and handle regular follow-ups
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn about engineering products and export documentation
Qualification
MBA or Graduate in any stream. Candidates with commerce, business administration, English, export documentation, or industrial sales coordination background will be preferred.
Experience
2 to 5 years of experience in customer coordination, sales coordination, export documentation, dispatch coordination, or manufacturing company sales support will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be sincere, organized, well-spoken, and capable of independently handling customer communication and internal follow-up. The person should be able to ensure that customer orders are properly tracked, customers are updated on time, documents are sent correctly, and future order opportunities are regularly followed up. He or she should be able to commute on a 2/3/4 wheeler to the plant on your own vehicle.
If the candidate can go and visit customer, outside Punjab, for Marketing, preferance would be given and incentivised also.
Salary
As per experience, communication skills, and capability.
Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
