Associate Dentist
Purpose of the Role
The Associate Dentist is responsible for delivering high-quality dental care while ensuring every patient has a comfortable and positive experience. Beyond clinical excellence, the role involves supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic, maintaining clinical standards, mentoring the dental team, and contributing to the smooth functioning and growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Responsibilities
Diagnose and formulate comprehensive treatment plans.
Perform a wide range of dental procedures independently, including:
Restorative dentistry
Root canal treatments
Extractions
Crowns, bridges, and prosthetic procedures
Pediatric dental procedures
Preventive and cosmetic dentistry
Emergency dental care
Refer complex cases appropriately while coordinating multidisciplinary treatment when required.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment records.
Follow evidence-based treatment protocols and infection control standards.
Communicate treatment options clearly and ethically with patients and caregivers.
Patient Experience
Create a welcoming and anxiety-free environment for patients.
Build trust through empathy, professionalism, and effective communication.
Ensure patients understand treatment plans, preventive care, and follow-up instructions.
Strive for high patient satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Clinic Administration
Assist in the daily operations of the clinic.
Ensure appointment schedules run efficiently.
Coordinate with reception, dental assistants, and laboratory partners.
Monitor availability of instruments, materials, and consumables.
Help maintain clinical inventory and minimize wastage.
Ensure operatories are maintained according to clinic standards.
Team Leadership
Guide and support dental assistants during procedures.
Ensure clinical protocols and SOPs are consistently followed.
Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and continuous learning programs.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and respect.
Quality & Compliance
Adhere to sterilization and infection control protocols.
Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and clinic guidelines.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.

Qualifications
BDS (Mandatory)
MDS preferred but not mandatory.
Valid Dental Council registration.
Prior clinical experience is preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
