Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and student-focused TGT Physics & Chemistry Teacher to deliver engaging science instruction to students of Grades VIII–X. The ideal candidate will foster conceptual understanding through practical learning, innovative teaching methodologies, and effective classroom management while preparing students for academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Physics and Chemistry aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Create lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and learning resources.
- Conduct practical demonstrations and laboratory activities while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and assessment data.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
- Encourage scientific thinking, problem-solving, critical reasoning, and inquiry-based learning.
- Prepare students for school examinations, Olympiads, and other competitive academic activities.
- Manage classroom discipline and create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, school events, and parent-teacher meetings.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc.) with Physics and/or Chemistry as major subjects.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification (preferred, where applicable).
Experience
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized CBSE/ICSE/State Board school.
- Freshers with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply.
Required Skills
- Strong conceptual knowledge of Physics and Chemistry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Effective classroom management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and digital teaching platforms.
- Ability to conduct laboratory experiments safely and efficiently.
