Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Manager – Quality (QMS / ISMS) to lead and strengthen our Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing, maintaining, and improving ISO and aerospace quality standards while driving compliance, audits, risk management, and continuous improvement across the organization.
This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in aerospace, electronics, quality assurance, and management systems who can effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Key ResponsibilitiesQuality & Information Security Management Systems
- Develop, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
- Ensure compliance with:
- ISO 9001:2015
- AS 9100 Rev D
- ISO 27001:2022
- Customer-specific requirements
- Organizational policies
- Statutory and regulatory requirements
- Lead surveillance, re-certification, and compliance activities for management system standards.
Aerospace Quality & Regulatory Compliance
- Support and manage CEMILAC and DGQA project quality requirements and documentation.
- Coordinate qualification testing activities, including:
- ESS (Environmental Stress Screening)
- EMI/EMC Testing
- Software Qualification Testing
- Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 standards and acceptance criteria across applicable classes.
- Maintain awareness of aerospace industry qualification and verification requirements.
Audits & Compliance
- Plan, conduct, and support:
- Internal Audits
- External Audits
- Customer Audits
- Supplier Audits
- Certification Assessments
- Prepare audit reports and track corrective actions through closure.
- Ensure adherence to established quality processes and standards.
Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
- Establish and maintain Risk Management frameworks and processes.
- Perform risk assessments and monitor mitigation actions.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities using methodologies such as:
- 8D
- Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)
- Problem-solving techniques
- Drive process improvements and effectiveness verification.
Metrics, Reporting & Governance
- Develop and monitor quality KPIs and process performance metrics.
- Analyze trends, prepare dashboards, and present actionable insights.
- Generate project health reports (MIS) and facilitate Management Review Meetings (MRM).
- Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and coordinate improvement initiatives with process owners.
Training & Stakeholder Management
- Conduct awareness sessions and training programs on QMS, ISMS, quality standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams, support functions, leadership, customers, and suppliers to address quality concerns.
- Provide recommendations and solutions for process and compliance-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8–12 years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- ISO 9001:2015
- AS 9100 Rev D
- ISO 27001:2022
- Experience managing surveillance audits and re-certification activities.
- Internal Auditor Certification in:
- ISO 9001
- ISO 27001
- AS 9100.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and Information Security Management Systems.
- Expertise in developing policies, procedures, SOPs, templates, and process documentation.
- Hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Experience in audit planning, execution, reporting, and closure management.
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CEMILAC and DGQA quality requirements.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.
- Exposure to:
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System)
- Experience in aerospace, defence, electronics manufacturing, or high-reliability engineering environments.
