Position: Consultant Ophthalmologist
Location: Kalyan, Mumbai, Maharashtra
Salary: ₹90,000 – ₹1,80,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Consultant Ophthalmologist to join a reputed hospital in Kalyan, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye disorders, performing ophthalmic procedures, and providing high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat eye diseases, vision disorders, and ocular injuries.
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
- Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries as per expertise.
- Prescribe medications, corrective lenses, and treatment plans.
- Manage OPD and IPD patients while maintaining accurate medical records.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Collaborate with optometrists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, medical ethics, and quality standards.
- Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
Eligibility
- Qualification: MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Ophthalmology.
- Valid State Medical Council/NMC Registration.
- Experience as a Consultant Ophthalmologist preferred.
- Strong clinical, surgical, and communication skills.
- Patient-centric approach with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
