A Healthcare and Pathology Marketing Executive is responsible for growing test volumes, building brand awareness, and managing relationships with referring doctors, clinics, and hospitals. This specialized role bridges medical services and business development, requiring a balance of scientific literacy and commercial marketing tactics.
Core Roles & Responsibilities
1. Physician & B2B Relationship Management
- Execute outreach programs to target general practitioners (GPs), specialists, and hospital administrators.
- Promote specific test panels like routine lipid profiles, specialized oncology markers, and genetic screening.
- Distribute educational materials detailing pathology test accuracy, turnaround times, and sample collection protocols.
- Resolve service complaints raised by medical clinics regarding delayed reports or sample transit issues.
2. Camp & Community Outreach Strategy
- Organize health camps and wellness drives in residential societies, corporate offices, and local communities.
- Coordinate Continuing Medical Education (CME) webinars and seminars for doctors to present new diagnostic technologies.
- Manage logistics for mobile diagnostic vans, home sample collection promotions, and preventative health packages.
3. Patient-Centric & Digital Marketing
- Create informative content explaining complex diagnostic procedures, fasting requirements, and symptom checklists.
- Run localized digital campaigns to promote preventive health check-up packages on social media platforms.
- Maintain pharmacy partnerships to display pathology center flyers, drop boxes, and promotional banners.
4. Market Intelligence & Compliance
- Track competitor pricing for high-volume tests like CBC, HbA1c, thyroid profiles, and lipid panels.
- Map local doctor networks to identify high-potential referral zones and untapped clinics.
- Adhere strictly to medical regulations ensuring all promotional materials comply with local healthcare advertising laws.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Biotechnology, or a related Life Sciences field.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years in healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical sales (Medical Representative background), or diagnostic center business development.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), healthcare CRM platforms, and basic medical terminology.
- Core Competencies: Strong scientific comprehension, persuasive B2B sales skills, relationship building, and high ethical standards.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
