Job Summary
Annai Fathima College of Arts & Science, Thirumangalam, is looking for a dedicated, responsible, and compassionate Girls Hostel Warden to oversee the administration and day-to-day operations of the girls' hostel. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety, security, discipline, and well-being of resident students while fostering a supportive and comfortable living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations and administration of the girls' hostel.
- Ensure the safety, security, and welfare of all hostel residents.
- Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and college regulations.
- Monitor student attendance, leave records, and hostel registers.
- Address student concerns, grievances, and emergencies with professionalism and empathy.
- Coordinate with college management, parents, and faculty regarding hostel-related matters.
- Supervise housekeeping, cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance of hostel facilities.
- Coordinate with the mess management to ensure quality food and hygienic dining services.
- Conduct regular inspections of hostel rooms and common areas.
- Maintain inventory records and report maintenance or repair requirements.
- Be available to handle emergencies and provide timely assistance to students.
- Organize a positive, respectful, and secure residential atmosphere that supports students' academic and personal growth.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline (preferred).
- Previous experience as a Girls Hostel Warden, Residential Warden, or in hostel administration is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in educational institutions or student residential facilities will be given preference.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage students with patience, responsibility, and professionalism.
- Basic computer knowledge is desirable.
- Candidates willing to stay on campus will be preferred.
