Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HR Recruiter with a strong background in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) recruitment. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring skilled professionals for MEP projects, including engineers, supervisors, draftsmen, BIM specialists, project managers, and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for MEP and construction-related positions.
- Source candidates through job portals, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment databases.
- Screen resumes and conduct preliminary interviews.
- Coordinate technical interviews with hiring managers and project teams.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of MEP professionals.
- Handle offer negotiations and onboarding activities.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases.
- Ensure timely closure of vacancies as per project requirements.
- Build relationships with consultants, contractors, and industry professionals for talent acquisition.
- Support HR operations and workforce planning when required.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP industry roles and technical requirements.
- Experience hiring Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Plumbing Engineers, BIM Modelers, Draftsmen, QA/QC Engineers, Site Supervisors, Project Managers, and related positions.
- Expertise in sourcing through job portals and professional networks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple positions simultaneously and meet hiring deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of recruitment experience in MEP, construction, engineering, or infrastructure sectors.
- Experience in Gulf/Middle East MEP hiring is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
- Recruitment for EPC, MEP contracting, construction, infrastructure, or facility management companies.
- Knowledge of labor laws and recruitment compliance.
- Experience with ATS and HRMS platforms.
