Job Title: Academic Mentor (Hosteller)

Summary
The Academic Mentor (Hosteller) serves as the primary driver of student success within our hybrid learning ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between classroom instruction and residential life, using performance analytics to dismantle learning barriers and fostering a disciplined, high-performance culture among resident students.
Responsibilities:
1. Performance Analytics & Strategy
- Data-Driven Interventions: Monitor student metrics across Daily Practice, Chapter Exams, and Test Series to identify learning gaps.
- Diagnostic Coaching: Conduct root-cause analysis for underperformance and design personalized remedial action plans.
- Academic Alignment: Proactively guide students through upcoming curriculum modules and learning objectives.
2. Hybrid Ecosystem Leadership
- Digital Adoption: Drive engagement with the proprietary learning app, ensuring students utilize digital forums and resources effectively.
- Participation Tracking: Monitor attendance and participation across both physical and virtual platforms.
- Stakeholder Advocacy: Educate students and parents on the value of the integrated learning model to ensure long-term retention.
3. Residential Mentorship & Discipline
- Habit Formation: Mentor students in time management, academic rigor, and high-performance behavioral habits.
- Welfare & Oversight: Maintain a supportive yet disciplined environment within student housing through regular interactions and welfare checks.
- Intervention: Identify signs of disengagement or absenteeism and provide immediate motivational counseling.
4. Communication & Administration
- Parental Consultancy: Act as the lead point of contact for parents, providing transparent reports on academic growth and behavioral trends.
- Operations: Manage student documentation, performance records, and fee coordination through internal portals.
Requirements:
- Analytical: Ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable student improvement plans.
- Communicative: Exceptional interpersonal skills; able to navigate tough conversations with students, parents, and faculty.
- Balanced Mentality: Firm on academic standards and discipline, yet empathetic to the emotional needs of residential students.
- Tech-Fluent: Comfortable leveraging educational technology to enhance learning outcomes.
