Role Profile & Summary:
The Senior Specialist in the Group Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) team will facilitate upstream source-to-contract processes using SAP Ariba and Oracle Fusion platforms. This role ensures the efficient execution of procurement activities, including contract management, sourcing, RFP management, and supporting reporting and compliance tasks.
As a member of the Group Procurement CoE team, the Senior Specialist will report into the GP-CoE Manager. Role combines strong operational execution with automation, data-driven analytics, and continuous process improvement to enhance procurement efficiency, compliance, and decision-making. It plays a critical part in standardising processes, enabling digital adoption, and driving insights-led procurement outcomes aligned with CoE priorities such as sourcing enablement, contract management, continuous improvement & reporting.
Group Procurement is responsible for managing third-party supplier engagements, in partnership with the business to drive high performance and sustainable value from our supplier relationships.
Key characteristics of Group Procurement:
Supplier spend c £2BN and c. 4,000 suppliers
Three master categories of spend (Technology, Services and Corporate)
A Strategy & Performance centre, enabling function to drive and implement the strategy of the Group Procurement function, best in class procurement policy and processes
Strategy & Performance tower is comprised of four teams:
Change Management Office (CMO) team focused on transformation, change, risk and customer engagement
Centre of Excellence (CoE) focused on enabling processes and support to design and implement the strategy
Shared Services (SS) team, focused on tactical buying and small category management
Individual contributor role managing Oracle implementation initiatives
This role sits in the Group Procurement (CoE) team, reporting into the GP-CoE Manager. Sr. Specialist, CoE will play the techno-functional role to support Upstream Source to contract processes using SAP and Oracle Fusion platform including
Sourcing Event Management
Contract creation,
Contract administration, performing Quality checks, Tagging metadata, repository management, etc.

Compliance and reporting
Its purpose is to provide effective and high-quality assistance to all teams within the Group Procurement function to ensure the efficient delivery of category, sourcing, operations, and supplier management, Compliance, and communication management activities.
Key Functional Requirements:
E‑Sourcing & Auction Execution
Partner with Category Managers to plan and complete end‑to‑end e‑sourcing events (RFx and Reverse Auctions) on Oracle and Ariba, including event configuration, live auction management, and results consolidation
Independently handle complex sourcing events with structured design (pricing templates, bidding rules, supplier logic) and drive post-event analysis for savings and insights
Contract Management (Oracle / DocuSign)
Handle contract creation and publication in Oracle Contract Management, ensuring accurate metadata capture, approvals, and compliance with procurement policies
Support end-to-end contract lifecycle, including execution via DocuSign, amendments, and governance checks to ensure audit readiness and data integrity
Procurement Process Automation & Analytics (Power Platform / AI)
Drive process automation using low-code tools (Power Automate, Power Apps, AI/Copilot agents) to improve efficiency and user experience across sourcing and contract processes
Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting to track sourcing performance, contract lifecycle metrics, and generate actionable insights for interested parties
Essential experience and skills required:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Sourcing management, Procurement process management or a related field.
5–7 years of experience across e‑sourcing, auction management, and contract lifecycle management in procurement environments
Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle Fusion and SAP Ariba (or equivalent S2C platforms) for sourcing events and contract management
Demonstrable ability to plan and implement end‑to‑end RFx and reverse auction events, including complex multi‑lot / multi‑round scenarios
Experience in contract creation, metadata management, approvals workflows, and execution via tools like DocuSign, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
Exposure to automation and digital tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, RPA, and AI/Copilot-based solutions to improve process efficiency
Strong capability in data analysis and reporting (Power BI or equivalent tools) to drive insights across sourcing and contract performance
Excellent Stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across procurement, legal, and business teams
Highly delivery-focused and dedicated, with strong analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power Platform tools (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook), along with experience in automation tools (RPA or equivalent) to streamline procurement workflows
Hands-on experience with procurement S2C platforms (Oracle Fusion, SAP Ariba or equivalent) and contract execution tools (e.g., DocuSign), with working knowledge of AI/GenAI tools (Copilot, agent-based automation)
Desirable skills:
Experience working in a Financial Services or regulated environment, or within global, multi-country organisations (e.g., FinTech, Information Services)
Proven exposure to driving automation, digital transformation, or AI-led initiatives across procurement / Source-to-Contract processes
