Within the overall BU LAB strategy framework , the Sales Manager- India region, takes ownership and develops his customer strategy to create business case , ensuring BU LAB Sales growth in the fragmented market. He foster Growth through proper knowledge of the complex portfolio of Product, Industry sectors he serves. He develops strong connection with the various stakeholder Internal and external in order to achieve profitable growth.
Key Responsibilities

Own sales & margin delivery for Industrial Additives & Finished Fluids portfolio across local/regional accounts, government and private customers.

Achieve KPIs turnover, variable margin, receivables, overdues.

Develop and execute account plans; identify and convert new business opportunities.

Manage full product portfolio Industrial lubricants, Finished Fluids, Aviation, Refrigeration, WTO, Marine, Specialty Fluids.

Support local finished fluids manufacturing and supply strategy (local sourcing, availability, import mitigation).

Align with Global Marketing on pricing, segmentation, and margin ownership; enforce price and credit discipline with customers and distributors.

Support formulation development and product optimization with Technology teams.

Ensure compliance with OEM specs, BIS standards, PSU/tender norms and industry standards.

Lead PSU/tender strategy (bid/no-bid, risk/compliance coordination); support tender preparation, price offers, and key customer proposals.

Ensure effective market and business information flow across Sales, Marketing, and Technology.

Strengthen distributor and RTM (route-to-market) performance and coverage.

Special Skills Conflict and Negotiation management skills, Delivering Technical presentation to customers, Computer Knowledge ( PPT / EXCEL / share point / showpad etc.). B2B sales experience in lubricants, chemicals, or related industrial sectors. Strong knowledge of industrial fluids/additives, customer applications, and tender/PSU business. Proven track record in margin management, pricing discipline, and key account management.
