- Team Leadership: Assign tasks to junior operators, assist in shift scheduling, and monitor overall workforce productivity.
- Training: Onboard new staff members and ensure they follow correct operating procedures and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
- Reporting: Maintain production logs, track material usage, and generate shift reports to share with plant management.
- Safety Enforcement: Ensure the shop floor complies with local safety regulations, 5S methodologies, and Goods Manufacturing Practices.
- Setup and Calibration: Adjust machine parameters (e.g., speed, temperature, and pressure) based on production drawings or technical specifications.
- Execution: Safely operate equipment to meet daily production quotas.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct routine visual and dimensional inspections of finished goods, adhering to strict manufacturing tolerances.
- Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting, routine cleaning, and preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
