Job Summary
We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Solar Service & Maintenance Technician to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for the installation support, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of solar PV systems, ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide full-time on-site technical support for solar PV systems.
- Perform troubleshooting and fault diagnosis on both DC and AC sides, including data collection and technical analysis.
- Attend breakdown maintenance calls and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
- Identify PV module-level faults and carry out faulty module replacement when required.
- Monitor system performance and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance and service records.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Adhere to company safety standards and operational procedures while carrying out field activities.
Eligibility & Skills
- Diploma / ITI / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant experience are welcome to apply.
- Basic knowledge of solar PV systems and electrical troubleshooting is preferred.
- Willingness to travel for fieldwork and work on-site.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Employment Terms
- This is a full-time, field-based position.
- The selected candidate will be on probation for a period of three (3) months from the date of joining.
- Confirmation of employment will be based on the candidate's performance, attendance, and overall suitability during the probation period.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Valid two-wheeler driving license will be an added advantage.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Ernakulam are preferred.
Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
