Job Title: Senior Finance Executive
Role Summary
Responsible for supporting the finance function of the company, including financial planning, budgeting, project costing, cash flow management, and statutory compliance. The role ensures that financial activities are carried out in a structured and disciplined manner, supporting smooth project execution and business operations. The position involves working closely with management and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, control costs, manage risks, and support project profitability. The role also assists in ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and supports the organization in achieving both short-term and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Management
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and business plans aligned with company objectives.
- Support management in financial decision-making and long-term planning.
- Monitor overall financial performance and highlight areas requiring improvement.
Project Costing and Profitability
- Support project costing and profitability analysis by coordinating with project and estimation teams.
- Track cost variations and identify overruns at an early stage.
- Ensure projects are executed within approved budgets and expected margins.
Cash Flow and Working Capital Management
- Assist in managing cash flow by planning inflows and outflows effectively.
- Support timely collection from clients and maintain control over receivables.
- Coordinate vendor payment planning to support smooth operations.
- Help maintain healthy working capital for ongoing and upcoming projects.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with proper analysis.
- Present financial data to management for review and decision-making.
- Ensure accuracy, transparency, and consistency in financial records.
Legal and Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other applicable laws.
- Handle statutory filings and ensure timely submission of returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and government authorities.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure audit readiness at all times.
Contract and Commercial Management
- Review client and vendor contracts from a financial and risk perspective.
- Identify risks related to payment terms, penalties, and variations.
- Support the commercial team in financial evaluation and negotiations
Cost Control and Expense Management
- Monitor company expenses and support cost control measures.
- Compare budgeted and actual spending and highlight variances.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Internal Controls and Risk Management
- Assist in establishing and maintaining internal financial controls and systems.
- Ensure financial discipline and help prevent errors or irregularities.
- Identify financial risks and support corrective and preventive measures.
Team Coordination and Support
- Coordinate with procurement, project, and HR teams on financial matters.
- Support the Finance Head in leading and guiding the finance and accounts team.
- Promote financial awareness and discipline across departments.
Qualifications Required
Experience Required
- 3 to 4 years of experience in finance Management
- Experience in construction, project, engineering, or manufacturing industry preferred
Key Skills
- Strong knowledge of project costing and financial management
- Good understanding of taxation, statutory compliance, and company laws
- Strong cash flow and working capital management skills
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of ERP systems
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
