- Testing & Inspection: Develop non-destructive and destructive testing protocols, evaluate engineering blueprints, and conduct rigorous statistical process control (SPC) analysis.
- Root-Cause Analysis (RCA): Lead investigations into product defects, component failures, or process variances utilizing methodologies like 5 Whys, Fishbone (Ishikawa) diagrams, and FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis).
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing, design, and systems engineering teams to optimize workflows, minimize waste, and implement Lean Six Sigma principles.
- Supplier Quality Management: Audit external component quality, establish incoming inspection criteria, and issue Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) when specifications are breached.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain flawless documentation of validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ), test metrics, compliance logs, and quality dashboards for executive review.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.
- Experience: Proven track record working as a Quality Engineer, QA Engineer, or Process Engineer in a high-precision manufacturing, hardware, or tech-hardware environment.
