PPC (Production Planning & Control) Manager
We are seeking an experienced PPC Manager to lead production planning, material coordination, and capacity management across multiple manufacturing units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely order execution, optimal utilization of resources, and smooth coordination between merchandising, stores, procurement, production, and quality teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage production plans based on customer orders, delivery schedules, and available capacities across multiple units.
- Monitor workload distribution between factories and allocate production to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with merchandising and design teams to ensure timely availability of approved BOMs, samples, and production specifications.
- Track material requirements and coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Conduct production capacity planning and identify bottlenecks, risks, and corrective actions.
- Monitor daily production progress against plans and take proactive measures to recover delays.
- Maintain accurate production schedules, order status reports, WIP tracking, and delivery forecasts.
- Coordinate with department heads to ensure smooth execution from cutting to packing.
- Review inventory levels, material consumption, and production efficiency metrics.
- Lead production review meetings and provide management with regular reports on order status, capacity utilization, and delivery performance.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve planning accuracy, productivity, and resource utilization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Production Management, Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably in toys, garments, textiles, soft toys, or similar manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of production planning, capacity management, inventory control, and material requirement planning.
- Experience managing production across multiple factories or manufacturing units.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Odoo experience preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Pay: ₹35,506.21 - ₹48,607.09 per month
