UI/UX Intern — Nextroy Dynamics Private Limited, Hyderabad
We’re looking for a UI/UX Intern to design intuitive user interfaces and user-centered experiences for our web portals, mobile demos, dashboards, and course materials. You’ll work with product, engineering, and content teams to create usable, accessible designs that help students engage with our robotics, AI/ML, and drone-tech offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in researching user needs and creating user personas, journey maps, and wireframes for web and mobile experiences.
- Design high-fidelity UI mockups, prototypes, and interactive flows using Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Create and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure consistency across products and materials.
- Conduct usability testing with students and internal stakeholders; collect feedback and iterate on designs.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to hand off assets, provide specs, and support implementation fidelity.
- Design course UI elements, dashboards, onboarding flows, and in-app micro-interactions to improve engagement and learning outcomes.
- Ensure accessibility and responsive design standards are followed for various devices and screen sizes.
- Create graphics, icons, and simple motion/UI animations for educational content and marketing collaterals.
- Document design decisions, produce user-interface guidelines, and support A/B testing for layout and content variations.
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends and propose improvements to increase conversions and user satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Des/B.Tech/BA/MS in Interaction Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field.
- 0–1 year internship experience or a portfolio demonstrating UX process and UI designs for web or mobile.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch; basic skills in Illustrator/Photoshop and simple prototyping tools.
- Understanding of UX methods: wireframing, prototyping, usability testing, user research, and information architecture.
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS basics and ability to communicate design intent to developers.
- Strong visual design sense, attention to detail, and ability to create clean, user-friendly interfaces.
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and/or Telugu; ability to present design rationale to cross-functional teams.
- Empathy for learners and interest in educational product design.
- Available for 6-day shifts (9 AM - 6 PM) or flexible hours for students.
