A Fabricator is a skilled tradesperson who cuts, shapes, assembles, and repairs materials, primarily metal, to create components or finished products according to blueprints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricators are responsible for transforming raw materials into precise components or finished products. Their main duties include:
Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand design specifications and project requirements.
Material selection and preparation, including cutting, bending, and shaping metals or other materials to required dimensions.
Cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, laser cutters, or welding equipment.
Welding and joining components using techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or gas welding to ensure strong, durable bonds.
Inspecting and testing finished products to ensure they meet quality standards, specifications, and safety requirements.
Repairing or modifying components as needed, troubleshooting defects, and maintaining production schedules.
Maintaining a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company and regulatory safety standards.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
