Job Summary
BigBasket is looking for dedicated and energetic Picker & Packers to join our warehouse operations team. The role involves accurately picking products based on customer orders, packing them securely, and ensuring timely order processing and dispatch while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick products from warehouse shelves and storage locations as per order requirements.
- Verify product quantity, quality, and expiry dates before packing.
- Pack items carefully to prevent damage during handling and transportation.
- Label, tag, and organize packages accurately for dispatch.
- Assist in sorting, scanning, and preparing orders for delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization within the warehouse.
- Support loading and unloading of inventory and materials when required.
- Follow warehouse processes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products to supervisors.
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
Required Skills
- Basic reading, counting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, retail, e-commerce, or fulfillment operations is an advantage.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
