Job Summary
A Hotel Receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, providing information about hotel services, and ensuring a pleasant guest experience throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities Guest Service
- Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints efficiently.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
Reservations & Room Management
- Process room reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
- Update room availability and occupancy status.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping regarding room readiness.
- Manage room allocations according to guest preferences and hotel policies.
Billing & Cash Handling
- Prepare guest bills and process payments.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and deposits.
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts.
- Reconcile daily transactions and submit reports as required.
Communication & Coordination
- Coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Security, and F&B departments.
- Communicate VIP arrivals, special requests, and guest concerns.
- Maintain the front desk logbook and shift handover notes.
Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in Front Office operations (preferred).
- Proficiency in English and local languages.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
