Shruti Gupta & Associates (SGA) is looking for a smart and committed Junior Interior Designer with 0–2 years of experience. Capable freshers with a strong portfolio may also apply.
This role is for someone with a good design sense, basic technical skills and a strong willingness to learn both design and detailed working drawings while growing with a progressive global boutique design studio. ABOUT THE ROLE
The Junior Interior Designer will assist the team across design development, presentations, working drawings and project documentation.
We need someone who is observant, organised, receptive to feedback and capable of converting instructions into accurate work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Assist in developing concepts, mood boards and material palettes
● Prepare layouts, elevations and interior working drawings
● Assist with ceiling, flooring, electrical, furniture and detail drawings
● Research materials, furniture, lighting and design references
● Prepare and update design presentations
● Make revisions accurately and maintain drawing records
● Support coordination with the team, vendors and site
● Take responsibility for assigned tasks and timelines
REQUIRED SKILLS
● Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field
● 0–2 years of experience; capable freshers may apply
● Working knowledge of AutoCAD
● Basic knowledge of SketchUp and presentation software such as Canva, PowerPoint or Photoshop
● Good design sense and attention to detail
● Strong learning ability, communication and organisation
● Willingness to learn materials, detailing and site execution
● Adaptability and willingness to learn and use AI tools in design, research and documentation workflows
Architecture graduates should apply only if they are genuinely interested in interior design and working drawings.
