- Quality Department Responsibilities
Review drawings, specifications, QAP, WPS/PQR, and inspection requirements.
Inspect incoming raw materials and verify MTCs.
Conduct stage-wise inspections during cutting, fit-up, welding, and painting.
Verify dimensions, weld quality, and visual inspection.
Coordinate NDT (UT, RT, MT, PT) and TPI inspections where required.
Maintain inspection reports, NCRs, and quality records.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and relevant standards (IS, AWS, ASME, etc.).
Approve finished products before dispatch.
Investigate quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
