Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Solar Design Engineer with experience in electrical and
structural design of rooftop and ground-mounted solar power projects. The candidate will
be responsible for preparation of detailed engineering drawings, system layouts, structural
designs, energy generation analysis, and coordination with project execution teams.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Design
Prepare DC and AC system design for solar PV projects.
Develop single line diagrams (SLD), cable layouts, string layouts, earthing layouts,
and BOQ.
Perform cable sizing, inverter selection, and protection system calculations.
Coordinate with execution teams for design clarifications and modifications.
Structural Design
Design module mounting structures for rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.
Prepare structural GA drawings, fabrication drawings, and foundation details.
Coordinate structural load calculations and support engineering approvals.
Optimize structure designs based on site conditions and wind load requirements.
Design & Engineering Software
Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
Conduct energy yield analysis using PVSyst.
Develop site layouts and shadow analysis using Google SketchUp.
Prepare project layouts, mounting arrangements, and installation drawings.
Project Coordination
Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal departments.
Support procurement and execution teams with technical documentation.
Assist during approvals, inspections, and project handovers.
Documentation & Reporting
Prepare detailed BOM, BOQ, and technical submissions.
Maintain revision control of drawings and engineering documents.
Ensure designs comply with applicable standards and client specifications.
Required Qualifications
B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
2–3 years of experience in solar PV design engineering.

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
