Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team as INTERN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting financial planning and analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Handle statutory compliance including GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and Income Tax.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
- Prepare and maintain asset, liability, and capital account entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support audits and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain documentation and ensure records are filed in accordance with company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com).
- Proven experience as an accountant (minimum 0–1 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar).
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
