ROLE OVERVIEW:
The QC Executive ensures that all materials and components procured
meet required quality standards, are cost-effective, and are delivered on time. The role balances procurement efficiency with strict QC checks to guarantee uninterrupted operations at Akshar International.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Source, evaluate, and finalize suppliers/vendors for required materials.
2. Conduct quality checks and inspections of incoming goods before acceptance.
3. Manage procurement process including inquiry handling, quote submissions, and timely POs.
4. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and quality standards with vendors.
5. Maintain QC & purchase documentation for compliance and audits.
6. Coordinate with stores, accounts, and vendors to ensure timely dispatch and material flow.
KRA KPI
- Vendor selection and management: Approved vendors onboarded as per company standards
- Procurement & negotiation: Timely PO release and cost savings achieved
- Quality inspection of incoming goods: Incoming QC reports submitted on time (with delay days if applicable)
- Product QC & Approval Register: Excel register maintained 100% accurately & shared timely
- PDI (Pre-Dispatch Inspection) –Customer’s Plant PDI reports submitted timely with delay days mentioned (if any)
- QC photo approvals from buyer: Photos of goods shared with buyers & approvals obtained before dispatch
- Purchase & QC documentation: All records maintained with 100% compliance
- Inventory monitoring & coordination Weekly inventory & supplier updates submitted
- Cost and quality improvement: Continuous initiatives to reduce procurement cost and improve supplier quality
Core Competency & required skills:
- Strong vendor management & negotiation skills
- Knowledge of QC inspection techniques & ISO standards
- Attention to detail with documentation accuracy
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel & ERP systems
Experience / Qualifications:
- Graduate ( engineering background preferred)
- 1–3 years of experience in Purchase / QC in engineering and electrical products
- Knowledge of ERP systems and supply chain processes preferred
