About the Role
YUGEN English Hub is looking for a passionate and student-focused Academic Counselor to guide prospective students in choosing the right Spoken English and IELTS programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a consultative approach, and the ability to build lasting relationships with students.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about Spoken English and IELTS courses.
- Handle walk-in, phone, WhatsApp, and online enquiries.
- Understand students' learning goals and recommend suitable courses.
- Follow up with enquiries and convert them into admissions.
- Maintain student records, enquiry databases, and admission documentation.
- Coordinate with trainers to ensure a smooth student onboarding experience.
- Achieve monthly admission and counseling targets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service before and after enrollment.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in academic counseling, education, customer relations, or sales.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Malayalam is an added advantage.
- Strong counseling, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, email, WhatsApp, CRM).
- Positive attitude, target-oriented mindset, and professional appearance.
