Our projects involve a wide range of materials including solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, DC/AC cables, electrical panels, earthing material, fasteners, civil materials, safety equipment and various electrical and mechanical components.
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and responsible Warehouse Manager to manage the company's warehouse/store operations for Solar EPC projects.
The candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, recording, controlling and dispatching solar project materials while ensuring accurate inventory, minimum material wastage, proper documentation and timely availability of materials at project sites.
The ideal candidate should have experience in warehouse/store management, inventory control, logistics and material handling, preferably in Solar EPC, Electrical, Construction, Infrastructure or Engineering industries.
Key Responsibilities1. Warehouse & Store Management
- Manage day-to-day operations of the warehouse/store.
- Maintain proper arrangement and systematic storage of all materials.
- Ensure proper identification, tagging and location marking of materials.
- Maintain separate storage for electrical, mechanical, structural and consumable materials.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions inside the warehouse.
- Implement FIFO/FEFO wherever applicable.
- Ensure materials are protected against damage, moisture, theft and improper handling.
2. Material Receiving
- Receive materials against Purchase Orders, Delivery Challans and invoices.
- Verify quantity, specifications, make/brand and physical condition of incoming materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Project and Accounts teams regarding material discrepancies.
- Prepare/maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN) and inward material records.
- Report shortage, excess quantity, transit damage or incorrect material immediately.
3. Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate physical and system inventory of all materials.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Maintain stock registers for all major project materials.
- Reconcile physical stock with ERP/Excel records.
- Identify slow-moving, excess, damaged and obsolete materials.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels for frequently used materials.
- Ensure no material is issued without proper authorization/documentation.
4. Solar Project Material Management
The Warehouse Manager will specifically handle materials such as:

- Civil/Electrical Consumables
- Tools and Installation Equipment
5. Material Issue & Dispatch
- Prepare material issue slips as per approved project requirements.
- Dispatch materials to project sites according to project schedules.
- Coordinate with Project Managers/Site Engineers for material requirements.
- Ensure correct quantity and specification before dispatch.
- Maintain complete dispatch documentation.
- Track materials sent to each project/site.
- Maintain project-wise material consumption records.
Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
