Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Sales Executive to join our jewelry retail team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in luxury or jewelry sales, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in selecting jewelry pieces based on their preferences and budget
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business
- Provide detailed product knowledge (gold, diamonds, gemstones, certifications, etc.)
- Handle high-value transactions with accuracy and integrity
- Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue
- Maintain showroom display standards and visual merchandising
- Stay updated on current jewelry trends and market pricing
- Assist in inventory management and stock audits
- Address customer queries, complaints, and after-sales service professionally
- Support junior sales staff and guide them when required
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory)
- 3–6+ years of experience in jewelry or luxury retail sales
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building ability
- Knowledge of gold purity, diamonds (4Cs), and gemstone quality
- Basic computer skills (billing software, POS systems)
- Trustworthy with strong ethical standards
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in premium/luxury jewelry brands
- Multilingual abilities (local language + English/Hindi)
- Strong presentation and grooming standards
