Job Description
Studio Sculpt is looking for a committed, responsible and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience in a reputed or professionally established architecture/interior design firm.
This role is suited to a designer who can understand a brief, take complete responsibility for assigned work, coordinate with the required people and complete the task within the agreed timeline. We are looking for someone who is serious about building a strong, long-term career in interior design—not someone seeking only a temporary job change.
The selected candidate will work on premium residential projects and will be involved in design development, technical detailing, material selection, presentations, site coordination and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and convert them into practical design solutions.
- Develop space plans, furniture layouts, design concepts, mood boards and material presentations.
- Prepare accurate AutoCAD working drawings, including:
- Furniture layouts
- Flooring layouts
- Ceiling plans
- Electrical and lighting drawings
- Wall elevations
- Kitchen and wardrobe drawings
- Toilet details
- Custom furniture and joinery details
- Use Adobe Photoshop to prepare presentations, mood boards and material compositions.
- Coordinate with 3D visualisers, site engineers, contractors, vendors and consultants.
- Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, sanitaryware and accessories according to the design intent and project budget.
- Attend site visits, review execution and identify discrepancies between drawings and actual work.
- Resolve design and execution-related issues in coordination with the project team.
- Maintain proper documentation, drawing revisions and project records.
- Take ownership of assigned work and complete it without repeated reminders or continuous supervision.
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality, accuracy and deadlines.
Mandatory Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of full-time professional interior design experience, excluding internships.
- Previous experience in a reputed or professionally structured architecture/interior design firm is essential.
- Must have worked on at least one complete residential interior project, preferably from design development through execution or handover.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
- Understanding of construction drawings, interior detailing, furniture detailing, materials and site execution.
- Ability to read site conditions and convert design ideas into practical, buildable solutions.
- A professional portfolio clearly showing the candidate’s actual contribution to each project.
- Clear communication and coordination skills.
- Candidates must mention the exact employment duration—month and year—for every previous organisation.
- Employment history and project involvement may be verified during the selection process.
Knowledge of SketchUp, Microsoft Office, Excel or other design software will be considered an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
