Job Summary
Pallavi International School, Sagar Road, is seeking a highly competent, passionate, and result-oriented High School Physics Teacher to deliver rigorous and engaging instruction aligned with the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong conceptual depth, analytical teaching strategies, and the ability to prepare students for board examinations, competitive assessments, and real-world scientific applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Instruction
- Plan and deliver structured and concept-driven Physics lessons for Grades 9–12 as per CBSE guidelines.
- Ensure deep conceptual understanding in core areas: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Optics, Electricity & Magnetism, Modern Physics, and Waves.
- Integrate laboratory experiments, simulations, demonstrations, and problem-based learning.
- Develop analytical thinking, numerical problem-solving, and scientific reasoning skills.
- Maintain strict laboratory safety protocols and best practices.
Assessment & Academic Excellence
- Design chapter tests, worksheets, practical assessments, and board-pattern question papers.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations, Olympiads, NTSE, JEE Foundation, and competitive exams.
- Track student progress through data-driven analysis and provide remedial and enrichment support.
- Maintain accurate academic records, practical files, and internal assessment documentation.
Curriculum Planning & Implementation
- Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, and learning outcomes aligned with CBSE blueprints.
- Implement competency-based education, NEP guidelines, and experiential learning practices.
- Integrate technology tools, simulations, and digital resources in teaching.
Student Mentoring & Classroom Management
- Maintain a disciplined, motivating, and academically focused classroom environment.
- Mentor students for academic growth, career awareness, and scientific curiosity.
- Encourage participation in science exhibitions, research projects, and competitions.
Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with parents during PTMs and academic reviews.
- Collaborate with academic coordinators and subject teams.
- Participate actively in teacher training, curriculum development, and school initiatives.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Maintain lesson plans, lab inventory, safety compliance records, and assessment data.
- Support examination duties, practical exams, and school events.
- Follow institutional policies and timelines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s Degree in Physics with B.Ed mandatory.
- Minimum 3–7 years of CBSE high school teaching experience preferred.
- Strong command over board exam patterns and assessment strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in smart classroom technology and digital platforms.
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
