Key Responsibilities
- Set up, align, and install dies, tools, and fixtures on 500-ton hydraulic press machines.
- Perform machine setup and adjust operating parameters such as pressure, stroke, and cycle time.
- Conduct trial runs and ensure tooling is properly configured before production.
- Operate hydraulic press machines safely and efficiently to meet production targets.
- Monitor machine performance and inspect finished products for quality compliance.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Troubleshoot minor machine and tooling issues and coordinate with maintenance teams when required.
- Maintain production records, downtime reports, and quality documentation.
- Follow safety regulations, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards (5S).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce downtime.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.Preferred Skills
- Experience in automotive, sheet metal, forging, or manufacturing industries.
- Basic understanding of preventive maintenance practices.
- Good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
