Job Summary
Seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer with a strong background in factory-based furniture production, particularly wardrobes, cupboards, kitchen cabinets, and custom joinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating practical and aesthetically appealing designs while coordinating closely with production and installation teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed furniture drawings.
- Design wardrobes, cupboards, kitchen cabinets, and other custom furniture solutions.
- Prepare production-ready drawings and specifications for factory manufacturing.
- Coordinate with factory, production, and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and quality execution.
- Conduct site measurements and client consultations.
- Select suitable materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories.
- Monitor project progress and provide design support during manufacturing and installation.
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- 3–4 years of experience in interior design, preferably within a furniture manufacturing, joinery, or interior fit-out environment.
- Strong experience in designing wardrobes, cupboards, kitchen cabinets, and custom furniture.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of furniture construction, materials, hardware, and production processes.
- Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings and production drawings.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, Furniture Design, or a related field.
- Candidates with relevant certifications or specialized training in furniture design, joinery, or modular furniture design will be given preference.
- Candidates with the required experience and relevant skills may also be considered even if they do not fully meet the preferred educational qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with modular furniture manufacturers, joinery workshops, or interior fit-out companies.
- Knowledge of factory production workflows and installation processes.
- Experience in residential and commercial furniture projects.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
