Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, qualified, and student-focused PGT Psychology & School Counsellor to teach Psychology to Classes XI–XII while providing counselling services that support students' academic, emotional, social, and behavioral well-being. The ideal candidate should be committed to promoting mental wellness, life skills, and a positive learning environment in accordance with CBSE guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Responsibilities
- Teach Psychology to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, practical activities, and learning resources.
- Conduct classroom discussions, projects, and case-study-based learning.
- Assess student performance and provide timely academic feedback.
- Prepare students for board examinations through effective revision and mentoring.
Counselling Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counselling sessions for students facing academic, emotional, behavioral, social, or personal challenges.
- Identify students requiring psychological support and refer cases to specialists when necessary.
- Conduct workshops on life skills, stress management, emotional well-being, bullying prevention, cyber safety, and adolescent issues.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree (M.A./M.Sc.) in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or Applied Psychology.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory for PGT teaching role).
Experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a PGT Psychology Teacher and/or School Counsellor in a CBSE/ICSE school.
Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
