We are looking for a Deployment Engineer to support the installation, commissioning, integration, and successful deployment of AI-powered machine vision quality inspection systems at customer manufacturing facilities.The candidate will work closely with AI, software, automation, electrical, and customer teams to ensure that vision inspection systems are installed correctly, validated against quality requirements, and perform reliably in production environments.Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission AI-based machine vision inspection systems at customer sites.
- Understand customer inspection requirements and translate them into deployment and system requirements.
- Set up and configure industrial cameras, lenses, lighting, sensors, triggers, and edge computing systems.
- Perform camera calibration, image acquisition setup, triggering, exposure, focus, and lighting adjustments.
- Deploy and configure trained AI/ML computer vision models for defect detection and quality inspection.
- Integrate vision systems with PLCs, sensors, actuators, robots, conveyors, and other automation equipment.
- Support communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, TCP/IP, or similar industrial protocols.
- Conduct system testing, validation, FAT/SAT, and production trials.
- Monitor inspection accuracy, false rejects, missed defects, response time, and overall system performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to cameras, lighting, sensors, PLC signals, software, networking, and AI model performance.
- Perform on-site system tuning to achieve required inspection accuracy and production speed.
- Coordinate with AI/Software teams for model improvements, retraining, and deployment updates when required.
- Provide technical support during production ramp-up and post-deployment activities.
- Train customer operators and maintenance teams on system operation and basic troubleshooting.
- Prepare deployment reports, installation records, test reports, SOPs, and system handover documentation.
- Maintain deployment checklists, system configurations, software versions, and service records.
- Coordinate with customers, automation vendors, and internal engineering teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Travel to customer manufacturing sites across India as required.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
