Electrical & Plumbing Maintenance Executive – Jewellery Showroom

About the Role
DAR Jewellery is looking for a skilled Electrical & Plumbing Maintenance Executive to maintain our jewellery showrooms, offices, warehouses, and corporate facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, plumbing repairs, preventive maintenance, and general building maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations across all branches.
Key ResponsibilitiesElectrical Maintenance
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Repair electrical wiring, switches, sockets, MCBs, DB panels, and lighting systems.
- Install and maintain LED lights, decorative lighting, and showroom display lighting.
- Maintain UPS systems, inverters, generators, and power backup equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and restore power quickly.
- Monitor power consumption and ensure electrical safety compliance.
- Coordinate with external electrical contractors when required.
Plumbing Maintenance
- Repair leaking pipelines, taps, valves, wash basins, toilets, and drainage systems.
- Install and replace plumbing fixtures.
- Maintain water supply systems and overhead tanks.
- Clear drainage blockages and resolve plumbing issues promptly.
- Perform routine inspections to prevent water leakage and damage.
General Maintenance
- Carry out preventive maintenance of showroom facilities.
- Assist with minor carpentry, painting, civil, and hardware repairs when required.
- Maintain air conditioners, exhaust fans, water pumps, and motors through vendor coordination.
- Ensure all maintenance work is completed with minimal disruption to showroom operations.
- Respond immediately to emergency maintenance issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of electrical and maintenance areas.
- Maintain maintenance logs and submit daily work reports.
- Visit multiple showroom branches for scheduled and emergency maintenance.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and troubleshooting.
- Experience in plumbing repairs and installations.
- Knowledge of electrical safety procedures.
- Ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues independently.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel between showroom locations.
Qualification
- ITI / Diploma in Electrician, Wireman, Electrical Engineering, Plumbing, or related trade.
- Minimum 2–5 years of maintenance experience.
- Experience in jewellery showrooms, retail stores, commercial buildings, hotels, malls, or offices is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in showroom maintenance.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC and generator maintenance.
- Ability to coordinate with service vendors.
- Knowledge of fire safety equipment maintenance.
- Valid Two-Wheeler Driving License.
