Job Summary
Assist in the installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronic, telecommunication, navigation, surveillance, and communication systems onboard vessels and within shipyard facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of electronic and telecommunication equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of communication, navigation, radar, CCTV, and monitoring systems.
- Diagnose faults and support troubleshooting activities.
- Conduct testing, calibration, and performance checks of equipment.
- Maintain technical records, service reports, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
- Coordinate with senior engineers, vendors, and project teams during maintenance and repair activities.
- Support system upgrades and modernization projects.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of communication systems, networking, radar, CCTV, and electronic equipment.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.
