About the Role
Southasian Chemtech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated Plant Coordinator to be stationed at manufacturing facility in Karad.
The Plant Coordinator will act as the company's representative at the manufacturing plant, ensuring that production, quality, branding, documentation, and dispatch activities are carried out as per Jointseal's approved standards and timelines. The role requires an independent, responsible, and detail-oriented individual who can coordinate effectively with the manufacturer while safeguarding the company's interests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent Southasian Chemtech Pvt. Ltd. at the third-party manufacturing plant and act as the company's on-site representative.
- Monitor daily production activities and ensure manufacturing is carried out strictly as per approved SOPs, quality standards, and production plans.
- Coordinate with the contract manufacturer to ensure timely production, packing, and readiness of customer orders.
- Monitor production schedules and proactively follow up to ensure on-time completion and dispatch of orders.
- Verify product quality, packaging, branding, labels, batch coding, and other deliverables before dispatch.
- Coordinate with the logistics and dispatch teams to ensure timely vehicle placement, loading, documentation, and dispatch of finished goods.
- Track dispatch status, delivery schedules, and communicate dispatch updates to the Head Office and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate production, dispatch, inventory, and daily MIS reports using Google Sheets, Google Docs, and MS Excel.
- Prepare and maintain all production, dispatch, stock movement, and operational documentation in an organized and timely manner.
- Share daily operational updates and promptly escalate any production, quality, logistics, or dispatch-related issues to the management team.
- Conduct regular checks to identify process deviations, operational risks, or improvement opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
- Build a professional working relationship with the third-party manufacturer while working independently and safeguarding the company's interests at all times.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical, Chemical, Production, Industrial Engineering) or any Graduate with relevant manufacturing experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, plant operations, quality, or production coordination.
- Experience in construction chemicals, cement products, dry mix mortar, paints, or related manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Good knowledge of Google Sheets, Google Docs, MS Excel, and digital documentation.
- Strong observation, coordination, and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and reporting abilities.
- Attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
