Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences to make recommendations.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm legal drinking age.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including counters, equipment, and workspaces.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations and maintain sanitation standards.
- Monitor customer behavior to ensure responsible alcohol consumption.
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
Requirements:
- Proven bartending experience preferred.
- Knowledge of a wide range of drink recipes.
- Ability to mix, garnish, and serve drinks in a timely manner.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess required certifications (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bartending school or formal mixology training.
