Job Summary:
The Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and hygienic transportation of food, equipment, and catering staff to customer locations. The role ensures that all deliveries are completed as per schedule while maintaining food quality, safety standards, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transport food, beverages, catering equipment, and supplies to client locations.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery according to the daily dispatch schedule.
- Assist in loading and unloading food containers, equipment, and materials.
- Verify delivery items against dispatch challans before leaving and upon delivery.
- Maintain food hygiene and prevent contamination during transportation.
- Ensure all food containers are securely placed to avoid spillage or damage.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections (fuel, engine oil, tyres, brakes, lights, etc.).
- Keep the assigned vehicle clean, well-maintained, and roadworthy.
- Report vehicle breakdowns, accidents, or maintenance issues immediately.
- Follow traffic rules and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Maintain delivery records, vehicle logbooks, fuel records, and trip reports.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team regarding delivery status and route updates.
- Collect delivery acknowledgements, invoices, or payment (if assigned).
- Support the operations team during catering setup and dismantling whenever required.
- Ensure the safe return of catering equipment after service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10th/12th Pass.
- Valid LMV/Commercial Driving License (as applicable).
- Minimum 2–3 years of driving experience, preferably in catering, food delivery, or logistics.
- Good knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.

Additional Requirements:
- Must carry a valid driving license and all required vehicle documents.
- No history of major traffic violations or criminal offences.
- Willingness to work overtime during large catering events or peak business periods.
- Adhere to company grooming, hygiene, and uniform standards at all times.
Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
